Why do you need to use digital marketing for Real Estate?
Marketing can get overwhelming pretty quickly. Digital Marketing is a term so broad that it can leave you lost. We're here to demystify digital marketing for real estate and boil it down to the key foundational steps you need to get started. These are the ones that will pay you the most benefits and effect all of the other marketing you're doing for your listings, and your own Realtor website and reputation.
- Listing Media: This might go without saying for you, but the trends vary city by city, so it bears repeating -> You need to make sure you have at minimum great, professional if possible, photos of your listing. Especially since 2020, prospective home buyers browse online before they ever reach out to view or find a Realtor. Visual listing media like videos, walkthroughs, floor plans, 3D tours etc. are strong assets to use in your Realtor Marketing Toolbox.
- Posting: I know your brain may immediately jump to social media posting, but that's not the most important kind when it comes to your digital marketing. Where you actually FIRST post your listing (both first before you do more marketing, and first before everyone else) is essential. You need to ensure that your listing media discussed above is embedded onto your own website. - Exposure: Once you have your listing embedded onto your own website you want to push it out everywhere you can (social media, posts, articles etc) AND make sure that you point/direct all of those posts, articles and links directly back to your own website. Think 'link in bios', URLs, buttons etc and make sure that they all point to your listing on your website. This is where the real power in digital marketing for Real Estate really comes from. The linking and pointing. Links are like online votes and the more of them you have pointing to you, the more Google and other search engines will show you an your website in the top spot for your listing!
